Did I mention it's hot? I love summer time, but when it gets this hot I have to ask myself why. I stay miserable most of the day and complain all the time, you would think I would decide I like cooler weather better...
Even though it has been on the warm side this week, I have managed to stay pretty productive, something I hadn't been in some time. When I know there's no deadline for anything I tend to put it off for another day, I decided it was time to stop that. :) I've done some deep cleaning on the house this week, as well as outside. Our front porch was beginning to look like the junk yard, so I cleaned it off. The flower beds have been de-weeded, and some were even de-flowered! It looks better.
I changed the bedding in Eddie's crib this morning, it made the whole room look different! I have all kinds of ideas to rearrange his room, now to just find the time (and get my sweet husbands help, hint hint ;) ). Eddie's most recent find is his thumb, which he is adorable sucking on! He is taking toys when you offer them to him and has started picking them up off the floor himself. I can't believe he's 3 1/2 months old! I'm lovin' every minute of it!
Clarence came home from work tonight with a window fan, yay! It has been extremely hot in here this week (in the mid to upper 80s), so we need all the help we can get.
I am getting more excited about school, and a little nervous to boot. It's a challenge I'm looking forward to, though. Just a few more weeks and we will be able to go get our books, and then just a few more and it will be starting! Hard to believe it's already the middle of July...
Supper dishes are done, baby is sleeping, time for mommy to take a cold shower!
