Almost a year...

Less than a week shy of it being a year since I last posted! I apologize. :)

I just finished the Spring semester, it was a good one, but seemed like a long one too! I took 6 classes, and surprisingly enough didn't completely lose my sanity. I have signed up for fall semester already, taking 6 classes again, and that will leave 1 class to take next Spring before I graduate. I made some amazing new friends this semester, which is a nice change since I haven't really gotten to meet that many people since I haven't been on campus much. That's really the only downside to taking classes at home.

Last fall I joined the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at NRCC and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the other members! In March I took my first trip away from home without someone familiar going with me, I accompanied the PTK to our Regional Convention in Richmond for 2 days, it was awesome! I really enjoyed it, and will be attending next year as well.

I am starting an internship with Northern Hospital in Mt. Airy on May 20. I am super excited about it, it has been a long wait trying to get everything worked out, but it's finally happening. The internship will be mainly on billing and coding with some other clerical duties thrown in, to may knowledge. It will end July 31, my birthday! :)

Eddie is now 2 years old! He is talking up a storm, too. He talks to us in complete sentences and carries on conversations! I remember last year saying many times that we couldn't wait until we could understand what he was saying, now we can! We started potty training yesterday, and he is doing very well! It's definitely physically and mentally draining for both of us, but all-in-all he is doing great with it. He is napping right now, which is the only reason I am getting to write this!

Clarence is still working all the time, as usual. He is getting to spend a lot more weekends here with us because he's not doing as much in the shop. He brought Eddie a matchbox car last night for doing such a good job with his first day of potty training, Eddie thought that was great!!

We took Eddie to the Asheboro Zoo a few weekends ago, that was a lot of fun. He loved getting to see all of the animals, and he walked just about the whole way! That's a lot of walking for a little one.  Unfortunately, I have no pictures from that trip. I forgot my camera, so we stopped at Kmart and bought a $20 one that we could get the pictures up on Facebook with, but while trying to get them off the camera I deleted them. Made me sick. :(

I think the clothes are about through washing so I need to go take a shower before Eddie wakes up!
